Dr. Sonsalla was born and raised on a farm here in Arcadia. After high school he went to the University of Madison and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1993. From there, he practiced medicine for the Clinton Darien Veterinary Service for a number of years. In 2003, he and his family moved back to Arcadia and he opened up his own practice. He helps with the Trempealeau County Fair and the Coulee Region Poultry Show. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He has some wonderful cats at home too. He also raises chickens. His favorite breed being Ameraucauna. He does have major soft spot for dark yellow labs and extra toed kitties.
