The IDEXX ProCyte One is a compact in-clinic veterinary hematology analyzer. It delivers a complete blood count (CBC) with a five-part white blood cell differential and reticulocyte count in under five minutes.

It checks for:

  • White Blood Cells (WBC): Checks five distinct types (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils) to identify signs of infection, inflammation, or immune system issues. 

  • Red Blood Cells (RBC): Checks parameters like hematocrit (HCT), hemoglobin (HGB), and cell size distribution (MCV, RDW) to detect anemia or dehydration.

  • Reticulocytes (RETIC): Checks immature red blood cells to see how well the bone marrow is responding to anemia.

  • Platelets (PLT): Checks platelet count, mean platelet volume (MPV), and related metrics to evaluate clotting potential and bleeding risks

Catalyst One

The IDEXX Catalyst One is an in-house veterinary blood and urine analyzer that checks for 34 different diagnostic parameters. It runs comprehensive panels to assess organ function, electrolytes, endocrine disorders, and specific diseases in dogs and cats.

It checks for:

  • Organ Function & General Chemistry: Checks kidney function, liver health, blood sugar, proteins, and pancreatic health

  • Electrolytes: Measures vital body salts like sodium, potassium, chloride, and total carbon dioxide. 

  • Hormones & Endocrine Testing: Checks total T4 for thyroid function, cortisol for diagnosing Cushing’s or Addison’s disease, and progesterone for reproductive status.

  • Specialized Assays: Evaluates long-term blood sugar control, inflammation, drug monitoring (phenobarbital), and kidney protein loss.

Allergy Testing

We offer allergy blood testing. We send out to Nelco vet for serum blood testing for all sorts of Allergies.  

Nelco Vet is a provider of allergy serum testing and injection treatment sets. We provide canine, feline and equine serum allergy testing. Their allergy test measures antibodies in the bloodstream specific to environmental allergens, such as grasses, weeds, trees, molds, dust, mites, epidermals and flea, also including foods.

Nelco also provides Immunotherapy (injection treatment) and Oral Allergy Treatment "Allerpaws".
